Just a 20-minute walk from the active craters, we’ll set up camp and sleep under a blanket of stars, with the mesmerizing glow of the lava keeping us company. This magical experience is one of those rare moments that feels like something out of a dream.

But our adventure doesn’t stop there! In the early hours of the morning, we’ll hike back to the craters to watch the sunrise. As the first light of day reveals the volcanic landscape, we’ll see a completely different side of Erta Ale – peaceful, golden, and absolutely stunning. Witnessing it at night and again at sunrise is truly unforgettable, as both views are unique and breathtaking in their own way.
